A man was rushed to hospital, and two teens were charged, after a late-night spate of alleged youth offending in Roma.

The man, in his 40s, jumped from his caravan after it started moving while he slept on April 10.

Police allege two juveniles stole the vehicle the caravan was attached to, and drove until they crashed into a power pole.

The pair, a 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, also allegedly stole another car from an address in Roma earlier that night.

Police allege the teens stole a Mitsubishi utility vehicle from a Northern Rd property in Roma about 10pm on April 10.

A police spokeswoman said the teens entered the courtyard of Motel Carnarvon, where they gained access to the vehicle.

About an hour later, the teens stole a Toyota utility vehicle from another address on Northern Rd, which was attached to a caravan at the time.

A police spokeswoman said the teens allegedly attempted to detach the caravan first, but ultimately drove off while it was still attached.

The caravan had been parked in the Villa Holiday Park on Northern Rd in Roma.

The teens allegedly drove the car, towing the caravan, south along northern Rd, before turning right down Taylor St.

The pair allegedly stopped when the caravan struck a power pole, and they left the scene on foot.
