Cricket: Roma and District Junior Cricket Club members were out in full force on the weekend, with only three more weeks until the season breaks up for Christmas.
Club secretary and treasurer Ellen Bain said the nice weather on the weekend provided for a great weekend of cricket.
"It has been a great turn out, we've got the Junior Blasters and the Master Blasters out there,” Bain said.
"There are eight teams of Master Blasters playing today. Each team will play three games and will field a six-a-side team.”
Bain said there has been a really good turnout this year.
"We have 104 players registered,” she said.
"Last year by the end of the season we had 74 registered and the year before that it was about 35.
"Its just getting bigger each year, which is fantastic.”
Bain said the club committee would use its grant money to fix up everything in the off season.
"The last round for the year will be on Saturday, December 1, before we break for Christmas,” she said.
