ST JOHN'S transformed their football field into a fun-filled fairground with all the bells and whistles on Friday night for its annual Moonlight Fair.

With support from the entire school community, the event was well attended and deemed a rousing success.

Rides, showbags, stalls and attractions drew hundreds to the school's major annual fundraiser.

The quirky and entertaining bubble soccer proved to be a popular activity for the kids, while many parents enjoyed a beverage at the classy Wine and Tapas Bar.

Rides and jumping castles were a favourite among the little ones, as were classic games like coconut shy, pluck-a-duck, and the laughing clowns.

The two lucky winners for the offbeat [and quintessentially country] horse poo lotto were Vince Packer and Peter Cavanaugh, while a meat tray was won by Marie Auld.
