THE Roma Rotary club has had hosted its annual changeover dinner and induction of the 2018-19 club president.
The dinner took place at Explorers Inn where family and friends of rotary members enjoyed canapes and a two-course meal before turning their focus on the much anticipated State of Origin game on the big screen.
The club's 2017-2018 president Peter Moloney passed the reins over to Greg Shaw to be the 2018-19 president. District governor Jitendra Prasad officiated the induction of the incoming president and the official handing over of the club charter.
The evening also marked a special occasion for Loreen Gibson, who was presented with the Paul Harris award.
In the past 13 years, Loreen and her family have been involved with the Rotary exchange program. As a surprise, a video showed her past exchange students and children congratulating her.
