Rain fails to dampen spirits at Roma Cup's 60th anniversary celebrations

While heavy rainfall kept the horses in the stables and off the track it did little to wash the smile off the faces of the thousands of guests in attendance at the 60th annual Roma Cup.
Spots of torrential rainfall throughout the day and evening meant the track was too wet for the horses to race in one of the seven scheduled events, however there was still plenty to keep guests entertained including the Fashions on the Field, live music and plenty of XXXX’s to go around.
The Western Star captured plenty of punters celebrating one of the biggest days on the western racing calendar.
