Last weekend hundreds of Maranoa residents gathered to celebrate inclusion and diversity at Harmony Day events at the Roma Butter Factory. Here’s all the photos and fun from the day.

Maranoa Harmony Week 2023 celebrations at the Roma Butter Factory.

On Saturday March 18, hundreds of Maranoa residents united to celebrate community togetherness at the Roma Butter Factory with a day of family fun and a twilight market.

This year’s theme for Harmony Week was ‘Everyone Belongs’ and the events celebrated the 41 different nationalities living in the region.

A Maranoa Regional Council spokesperson said these different nationalities make up 905 people, which equates to 7.1 per cent of the Maranoa population.

Attendees were spoilt for choice with live music performances, food vendors, multicultural presentations, cooking demonstrations and international food tastings.
