In great news for the Maranoa’s coffee lovers, a new drive-through coffee shop is set to open this month.
Bang Bang coffee, set to open July 8, is the latest enterprise of Genevieve Rogers, the owner of the wildly successful Rex coffee on Hawthorne St in Roma’s CBD.
Ms Rogers said a drive-through coffee shop had been in the works for three years, and she is glad it will finally come to fruition on Monday.
The Roma business owner is no stranger to hard work, pivoting from policing to hospitality in 2014, when she started operating a coffee business from a “little yellow coffee van”.
A decade later, Ms Rogers has just as much love for her hospitality enterprises.
“I don’t even consider it going to work every day,” she said.
“I just love coffee and I love cooking and baking.”
She said she hopes Bang Bang will be an extension of what customers know and love at Rex coffee, with the added convenience of a drive through.
“Our number one (priority) has always been customers,” Ms Rogers said.
Customers will be able to order from Bang Bang coffee on the corner of Arthur St and Mayne St in Roma, as of 5am on July 8.
