Roma’s town centre stood still as celebrations began for the region’s annual Christmas party on Thursday.
McDowall Street was closed from 2.30pm as eager residents and visitors alike gathered for the Maranoa Christmas Street Party, which kicked off the festive season with a Christmas Tree lighting among a long list of activities for the whole family.
