Juvenile accused of beating woman with a pole
A 12-year-old is facing a charge after he allegedly hit a woman over the head with a pole. She reportedly required medical assistance.

A 12 year old has been charged after allegedly hitting a woman over the head with a metal pole in Central Queensland on Thursday night.
A Queensland Police spokesman said there was an assault at Wandal’s Rotary Park, popularly known as the ‘Dinosaur Park’.
It appears the report was later phoned in from a Capricorn Street address in Gracemere around 6pm.
The spokesman said the 21 year old female was hit over the head with a pole.
Police have charged the youth with assault occasioning bodily harm with a weapon.
It is understood an ambulance was required.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said they attended a private residence at 6.10pm and transported the patient to Rockhampton Hospital with spinal precautions.
The juvenile will face Rockhampton Children’s Court on June 29.
