UPDATE 6.30pm:The children were returned home safely around 5.30pm.
3.45pm: Rockhampton police were flagged down on the corner of Farm and Alexandra Sts on Friday afternoon.
There were reportedly two toddlers standing on the side of the road without any adult supervision.
