TIMEZONE: How to get a job at Rockhampton’s newest entertainment venue

The store will open sooner than you think and is set to employ 30 to 40 people.

The countdown is on for Rockhampton’s newest arcade games and entertainment venue.

Timezone Rockhampton,to be located at Stockland Rockhampton, is due to open in mid-September.

Recruitment for staff members has already begun with applications now open for a venue manager and assistant venue manager.

The job advertisement stated an applicant should have proven management experience in the hospitality, entertainment or retail industry, passion to motivate the team, strong financial acumen and relationship building skills to ensure amazing guest experiences.

The venue will employ 30 to 40 persons in total.

The Rockhampton venue will feature more than 70 arcade games from the “latest and greatest” games such as VR Rabbids to classics like Pinball and Space Invaders.

There will be also be spin zone bumper cars with seven cars in the arena and four ten-pin bowling lanes.

The Winners Vault holds all of the prizing needs from the latest POP! Vinyls, electronics, figurines, plush toys and confectionary.

The venue will also have two dedicated party rooms.

The Rockhampton venue will be open from 10am to 10pm and from 9am on weekends.

Timezone will be opening where H&M was previously, with the space to be shared with TK Maxx and two other speciality stores.

Timezone is owned by The Entertainment and Education Group who also own Zone Bowling and Kingpin.

The company has 80 entertainment venues across Australia and New Zealand and employ 1,800 team members.
