Police are searching for a 16-year-old male after he allegedly threatened a motel owner with a brick after 10am on Wednesday.

Police were called to the Motel Lodge on Gladstone Road after the owners reported the boy was hitting the building and threatening the staff.

He and his older sister had been earlier evicted from the premises.

The owners reportedly chased the boy off with a bat.

Police are searching for the teen, who is reportedly wanted for questioning over multiple matters, around the Allenstown and Salesyards areas.

He is dressed in all black with a cream-coloured baseball cap worn backwards.
