A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Berserker on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Queen Elizabeth Dr and Brown St at 10.55pm following reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the boy, who is in his mid-teens, for severe head and leg injuries before taking him to the Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers attended the scene, and investigations into the cause of the crash were ongoing.
The spokesman confirmed that no charges have been laid at this stage.
