A teenage girl has been flown to hospital in a rescue helicopter after she fell off the horse and was injured at a private property in Central Queensland on Thursday afternoon.
It is understood the teenager fell off the horse at a private property in the Banana Shire and suffered suspected head and neck injuries.
The Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service rescue helicopter was called to attend about 5.30pm.
The helicopter landed near the scene of the incident, where the aeromedical crew met with Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics to treat the patient.
The teenager was flown to Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.
