Smokey situation: solar panels brings firies, police, ambos to Biloela

Firefighters, police, paramedics and Ergon Energy workers have attended an electrical mishap where solar panels went up in smoke.

Firefighters, police, paramedics and Ergon Energy workers have attended an electrical mishap in Biloela where solar panels smoking.
The incident occurred at 1pm on Grevillia Street.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said two crews attended the scene, where they found a roof-mounted solar panel smoking.

They spent time cooling down hotspots at the scene, and no actual flames were reported.
A local electrician is expected to attend to assist with making the scene safe.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were on standby.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no injuries were reported at the scene.
