The property was sold to Tannum Sands buyers in 2021 for $357,500.

On the large 2032sq m block is a three-bedroom home that was built in 1955 and was reportedly rented for $350 per week.

The home will be removed to make way for the development.

The site is within a short walking distance to Yeppoon Central shopping centre and is right next to a bus stop.

The plans show the six single-storey housing units would be built along the block with a mixture of three-bedroom, two-bathroom units, and two-bedroom, one bathroom units.

The application was submitted to Livingstone Shire Council on January 31 and is now under assessment.
