The Range man, 21, dies after vehicle crashes into tree on Bruce Highway just south of Rockhampton
Emergency services responded to the Bruce Highway just south of Rockhampton after a crash on Wednesday morning.

A 21-year-old Rockhampton man has tragically died following a serious crash just south of Rockhampton on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services received reports of a vehicle crashed into a tree at 4.45am on the Bruce Highway at Midgee, near Whyte Road, 10kms south of Rockhampton.
After hitting the tree, the sedan caught on fire which then sparked a grass fire.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services arrived on scene five minutes after receiving the call with three crews.
The grass fire was out by 5.10am and the vehicle fire was out by 5.20am.
Paramedics assessed the driver for critical injuries, however the man, from The Range, died at the scene.
The Bruce Highway was closed for a few hours and traffic was directed via the Burnett Highway.
A tow truck removed the vehicle from the scene around 9.20am and the highway was reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigated and is asking for any witnesses to the crash, or anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident, to contact police.
