SALT Yeppoon will enjoy its official opening tonight, made all the sweeter with some special guests.

The $28 million resort-style development has been more than three years in the making and hosts 50 apartments.

The official opening, in addition to Capricorn Enterprise's Members Networking Night, will be attended by Minister for Tourism Kate Jones (pictured).

The event is expected to be attended by Capricorn Enterprise chairman and Livingstone deputy mayor Graham Scott, Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll, Salt Yeppoon developer Andrew Beaumont and Salt Yeppoon managers Karen and Steve Gunther.
