UPDATE, 3.20PM: A 19-year-old woman has been charged with one count of common assault after an alleged "hair pulling" incident outside Rockhampton Courthouse on Thursday.
She is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 25.
INITIAL: There was a moment of high drama at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday morning as police responded to a report of an alleged assault.
Armed officers moved quickly and took a woman into custody.
It was described as an alleged "hair pulling" incident; the relationship between the woman and her alleged victim is not yet known.
