2pm UPDATE: Police reported that, although no damage was evident to the Memorial Gardens, there was damage to the council pathway on Hartington Street.
Friends of the bereaved are going on social media to defend the "burn outs", saying it was "the send off he deserved".
11am: Rockhampton police responding to near the Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Lakes Creek Road, following multiple reports of vehicles "hooning" and doing burnouts.
Reports suggest up to "two dozen people" could be involved in the disturbance opposite Hartington Street.
