QFES attends house fire in Donohue Road, Emerald

Two houses on the outskirts of Emerald were ripped through by a blaze as emergency services rushed to put out the fire on Tuesday morning.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said crews attended reports of a house fire after 3.30am on January 18.
Two buildings were alight on Donohue Road in Emerald, one of which was ‘fully involved’.
Firefighters with breathing apparatus contained the blaze to a single structure by 4.10am.
QFES handed the matter to police at 6am and a fire investigator is expected to attend today.
Queensland Ambulance paramedics remained on standby but no patients were assessed.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the fire did not appear to be suspicious.
