IT DIDN'T take Damien and Tracey Joyce ItItlong to make the decision to buy a house after having a look at The Pines Yeppoon.

The couple are the third homebuyers to move into the area, after wanting to own a piece of paradise on the Capricorn Coast.

They have already been living in the house for over a month and were chasing the coastal lifestyle when they relocated to the region five years ago.

Tracey said their jobs led them to the Capricorn Coast and they had been renting in Cooee Bay before making their new purchase.

She said the best part of making the decision to move to The Pines Yeppoon was the fact they would own their own house.

"It's a nice lifestyle down here and you have everything you need in town," she said.

"There is a lot going for this area with the Yeppoon foreshore redevelopment on its way; there's plenty to do for the kids."
