A registered liquidator and bankruptcy trustee on violence charges is expected to face trial in five months' time.

Worrells Rockhampton and Mackay principal Michael John Beck, 42, has been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm and four counts of common assault.

According to court documents, all of the alleged offences took place at The Range.

The documents allege the AOBH allegedly took place on October 8, 2023, while two of the common assault charges took place on July 17, 2023 and the other two on May 20, 2023, and August 14, 2023.

His charges were mentioned in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 22 where a representative from Phillips Crawford Lawyers in Brisbane advised the court a barrister had been briefed and requested a magistrate's court trial listing for May 4-14.

However, police prosecutor Brandon Selic said the investigating officer would not be available at that time.

As the discussion developed, the court started looking towards a trial listing for June, but the calendar for that month had not yet been drawn up and police prosecution needed to check witness availability dates.

Magistrate Lance Rundle adjourned Mr Beck’s matters to February 12 for all parties to check for dates in June.

No pleas have been entered, and Mr Beck is currently on bail.
