Three injured in crash on Rubyvale Capella Rd, Capella

Emergency crews have rushed to a two-car head-on crash in Central Queensland that has seriously injured three people.

Three people have been seriously injured after a head-on crash in regional Queensland.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle head-on crash on Rubyvale Capella Rd, Capella, about 4.30pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said there were three patients in a serious condition.

“The patients had multiple injuries, one had leg fractures, one had arm fractures, and another one had abdominal injury,” he said.

“They have all been transported to Emerald Hospital.

“The rescue helicopter is out there at Emerald now to assist.”

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said an investigation continued.
