A young man trapped in a vehicle overnight that collided with a tree has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics are fighting to save a man in his 20s who was trapped in a vehicle that rolled and then collided with a tree overnight.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said they first received a call about the accident on Greenlake Rd at Sandringham, near Rockhampton at 7.15am.
On arrival, crews found one person in a Mazda which had collided with a tree.
A QAS spokeswoman said the man was trapped since 8pm last night.
He was freed roughly 12 hours later and taken to Rockhampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Early reports from the scene had the young man’s age as his mid teens, but a paramedic spokesperson has since said he is a man in his 20s.
It is unknown who made the call to emergency services.
CapRescue said he suffered serious leg injuries and required urgent medical care.
Their medical team helped ground crews already on scene to stabilise the patient before flying him to Rockhampton Hospital for further scans and treatment.
