Three young men are charged over a home invasion at night at a Wandal residence where police allege six men were assaulted.
Mason John William Collins, Braith William Whitfield and Brandon Charles Hixon, all aged 20, entered pleas in Rockhampton District Court on March 29 to nine charges.
Police allege the trio entered a Wandal residence on January 22, 2022, and assaulted six men.
Mr Hixon pleaded guilty to all of his charges - one count each of enter dwelling with intent at night in company, unlawful assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company and five counts of common assault.
Mr Whitfield pleaded not guilty to all charges - one count each of enter dwelling with intent at night in company, unlawful assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company and assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company and five counts of common assault.
Mr Collins pleaded guilty to one count of entering a dwelling at night with intent to commit an indictable offence while in company and two counts of common assault of a third male and one on a fourth male.
He pleaded not guilty to one of assaulting the male resident and causing him bodily harm, assaulting a second male while armed and in company and common assaults on a fifth and sixth male.
Mr Collins was the only one charged with one count of wilful damage of a motor vehicle to which he pleaded guilty.
All three men’s matters will next be mentioned on April 17.
