One of the three people charged over a home invasion has fronted court where it was heard the alleged offences from that night had “terrified” the resident and a witness.

Jayden Lee Clark, 33, made a bail application in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Friday after being charged with enter dwelling with intent by break at night, armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He and two others are accused of entering a McGrath Street, Norman Gardens, residence about 10.45pm on February 7.

Police allege they damaged property and threatened a resident, before stealing a quantity of property and car keys.

They will further allege the group stole a blue Haval vehicle from the property before fleeing the area.

A 38-year-old Gracemere man has been charged with three counts of contravention of a domestic violence order and one count each of enter dwelling with intent, armed robbery, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody and due to reappear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on April 9.

A 26-year-old Allenstown woman was charged with enter dwelling with intent, armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

She has been remanded in custody and was due to appear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court on February 13.

Defence lawyer Mark Zeller heard it was not known how Mr Clark, who was unemployed, was identified as a party to this and was aware some of the parties were known to the alleged victim.

He said his client’s criminal history was “very light on”, with an assault conviction from 2008 and then nothing until a knife in a public place conviction in January 2025.

Police prosecutor Brandon Selic said this was a violent serious offence which “essentially is a home invasion” where the alleged victim and witness were “terrified”.

Magistrate Philippa Beckinsale said it was alleged Mr Clark was well involved in the offending and “placed a pole to the victim’s throat”.

She refused bail and remanded him in custody.

Mr Clark’s matters have been adjourned to April 9 and briefs of evidence have been ordered.

No plea was entered.
