Multiple emergency crews have raced to a two-vehicle crash on the Capricorn Highway west of Rockhampton.
Emergency crews were called to the crash between a truck and car about 10.30am.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said fire crews used hydraulic equipment to free one person who was initially trapped in a vehicle.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were assessing two people on scene.
He said the person who was initially trapped in the vehicle was reported to be a man aged in his 30s who suffered leg injuries.
The other man, who was the driver of the truck, was aged in his 60s and was being treated for a head laceration and back pain.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the Capricorn Highway was blocked in both directions with diversions in place.
