Police prosecutor Corey O’Connor said Henry sent two voice messages on Snapchat to a 16-year-old boy on July 1.

Mr O’Connor said the messages stated: “Oi, where are you at? I’ll come and fight you p–y. Nah motherf–ker you can’t back down now. I will come and stomp on your head c–ksucker”.

“These messages caused the victim fear that the defendant could hurt him or his family,” he said.

He said while speaking to police on August 10, Henry stated he wasn’t aware it was an offence to send harassing messages.

Defence lawyer Brendan Gimbert said his client had sent the messages following some comments about his two young children.

Henry was fined $800 with a criminal conviction recorded.
