Drink drivers, drug drivers face Yeppoon Magistrates Court
A meatworker and a carpenter were among the latest traffic offenders to face Yeppoon court.

The following people pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.
Drink driving

Christopher Anthony Halley, 37
Halley blew a reading of .078 after police intercepted him driving at Yeppoon on June 20.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on June 26 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Halley was fined $450 by Magistrate Cameron Press and disqualified from driving for six weeks.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Junior Bali Bali, 33
Bali blew a reading of .103 after police tested him on Park Street, Yeppoon, on June 1.
At the time, Bali was driving while his licence was court disqualified.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on June 26 to drink driving and disqualified driving.
With one previous similar offence in the past five years, Bali, a meatworker, was fined $1600 by Magistrate Cameron Press and disqualified from driving for two years and eight months.

Samantha Claire Hocking, 18
P-plater Hocking blew a reading of .149 after police intercepted her on Jeffries Street, Yeppoon, on June 21.
She pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on July 10 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort and no traffic history at all, Hocking, who has been accepted into university and had completed a traffic offenders' program, was fined $800 by Magistrate Lance Rundle and disqualified from driving for six months.
No traffic conviction was recorded.
Jalah Dean Lea, 20
Lea blew a reading of .066 after he was tested by police on Tanby Rd, Yeppoon, on June 5.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on July 10 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort and no traffic history, Lea, a carpenter, was fined $400 by Magistrate Lance Rundle and disqualified from driving for one month.

Luke Joseph Jennings, 42
Learner licence holder Jennings had both cannabis and methamphetamine in his system when police intercepted him on Yaamba Rd, Parkhurst, on April 17.
He pleaded guilty in Yeppoon Magistrates Court on July 10 to drug driving.
With no prior similar offending, Jennings was fined $350 by Magistrate Lance Rundle and disqualified from driving for three months.
