A convicted Queensland drug trafficker has returned to court after police found hundreds of grams of marijuana and a heap of other suspect gear at his house.

A convicted drug trafficker has returned to court after police found 290 grams of illicit drugs hidden in his ceiling.
Jeramiah Owen Warriner, 38, was convicted of trafficking marijuana in May 2022 and he was handed a 2.5 year wholly suspended prison term with a four-year operation period.
He was then busted possessing 290 grams of marijuana on September 12, 2023, which was stashed in the roof of a Mount Morgan residence.
Crown prosecutor Cameron Keast told Rockhampton District Court on May 10 that police also found Warriner in possessing of a bong, a chop bowl, $2600 cash and a mobile phone used to carry out two drug supplies - one for eight grams of marijuana to pay off a debt and the other three grams on tick.
Warriner was sentenced in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on February 9, 2024 to nine months in jail, breaching the May 2022 trafficking suspended sentence.
During the trafficking period, Warriner carried out 97 supplies to 31 customers.
Defence barrister Jordan Ahlstrand said his client, who spent 150 days in presentence custody for the September 2023 drug bust, was working on rehabilitation from drugs and was on a wait list for counselling.
He said Warriner’s dad died recently, and he was supported in court by his sister.
Mr Ahlstrand said the father-of-three had reintegrated in the community since his release from prison three months ago.
Warriner admitted the breach and Judge Jeff Clarke activated the suspended sentence in full and set parole release as of May 10, 2024.
