Woman hospitalised after Central Queensland highway crash
Police are reportedly conducting traffic controls after a three-vehicle crash on a highway near Rockhampton.

UPDATE, 2.20pm:
Paramedics have transported a woman to hospital after a crash on a Central Queensland highway.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they were called to the Burnett Highway and Gavial-Gracemere Road at 1.30pm.
The QAS spokeswoman said a woman in her 60s was taken to Rockhampton Hospital with spinal precautions.
She said two other people declined ambulance assistance.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said they’re cleaning up debris and leaked oil from the crash.
It’s now understood the crash involved three vehicles, according to QAS and QFES.
The outbound lane of the Burnett Highway is closed, according to a Queensland Police spokesman.
EARLIER:
Emergency services were called to the Gavial-Gracemere Road near Bouldercombe where a car reportedly sustained “severe” damage in a two-car accident.
The incident was reported around 1.20pm.
Police are closing the southbound lane to traffic.
At first it was feared one driver was trapped but both have since extricated the vehicles.
A woman is bleeding from a head wound.
