It did not take long for flowers and tokens commemorating the life of beloved dad Adam Wilson to begin to adorn the Kerrigan St and Perrier Ave signpost in Frenchville after a shocking motorcycle accident on Saturday night claimed his life.

Painting a picture of a knockabout bloke, a packet of Manchester cigarettes and bottles of Great Northern beer sit among the flowers on the post and at the bottom.

But, the most prominent item of all is a simple sign that states ‘DAD AKA THE BOSS (until Mum comes home)’.

The 35-year-old’s partner Amy Hite has thanked those who desperately tried to save him that tragic night.
