A 34-year-old Nerimbera man has been charged with several offences after he allegedly threatened a man with a gun.
Police will allege a man entered his car parked near the Nerimbera boat ramp on Saint Christopher Chapel Road at 8.45pm when the accused gunman approached and threatened him with a firearm.
The driver left the scene uninjured soon after the incident occurred, according to police.
Police allege the Nerimbera man they took him into custody after finding him in possession of a firearm.
He has been charged with three counts of unlawful possession of weapons, and one count each of common assault in a public place while adversely affected by intoxicating substance, serious assault of a police officer, and authority required to possess explosives.
He is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on February 3.
