Man taken to Emerald Hospital after snake bite at Springsure

The warmer weather has brought snakes out, with a man being bitten at Springsure overnight. Here’s what happened.

A man was taken to hospital on Thursday night after he was bitten by a snake at Springsure.

Paramedics were called to a location off the Dawson Developmental Rd at 6.54pm where the man in his 30s was bitten on the leg.

He was taken to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition.
