Man suffers facial injuries after two vehicle crash in Kabra

A man is stable following a two vehicle crash which temporarily closed the Capricorn Highway.

A man has been taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition following a two vehicle crash which temporarily closed the Capricorn Highway.

The incident occurred at 8.45pm on Wednesday, June 11 in Kabra, south-west of Rockhampton.

According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman, a man in his 30s in one of the vehicles involved suffered facial injuries and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital while the other driver declined being taken to hospital.

According to a Queensland Police Service spokesman both lanes of the Capricorn Highway were temporarily closed as emergency services responded to the incident.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said two crews attended the scene with the first arriving just after 9pm.
