Man seriously injured after falling from bicycle in Gracemere

A man has suffered serious injuries after falling from a bicycle in Central Queensland.

Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene.

A man has suffered serious injuries after falling from a bicycle early Thursday morning in Gracemere.

Queensland Ambulance Service attended the incident on the corner of the Capricorn Highway and McLaughlin Street at 5.58am.

A QAS spokeswoman said a man in his 40s had suffered facial, head and shoulder injuries.

He was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious condition.

The spokeswoman said paramedics had confirmed there was no vehicle involved.

“He has just come from the bicycle,” she said.
