Man fighting for life after Woodbury pool drama
A man has been flown to hospital in critical condition after a near-drowning at a private pool north of Rockhampton.
A man has been flown to hospital in a life-threatening condition following a near-drowning in a pool at a home north of Rockhampton.
Emergency crews rushed to the Woodbury address, in the Livingstone Shire area, after receiving triple-0 calls at 6.38pm Sunday.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed a man in his 60s was in a life-threatening condition following a post-submersion incident at a pool at the private address.
He was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition.
Overnight paramedics were also called to a vehicle and pedestrian incident at 12.35am Monday at the Glenmore Rd and Haynes St intersection, at Park Avenue in Rockhampton where a man suffered knee injuries.
He was also taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
