Juvenile hit by bus outside shops rushed to hospital

A bus hit a child on the road outside Northside Shopping Plaza in Rockhampton just after lunch on Monday.

Early reports indicate there were three children running across the busy highway when one of them was sideswiped.

The child has been transported to Rockhampton Hospital with a lacerated arm.
