SPENDING time in the kitchen with her mother as a child sparked a passion in Naomi Devoy for baking.
She's created an array of flavours in her kitchen over the years, and now the self-taught baker is whipping up her own little masterpieces to share with Rockhampton's tastebuds - cupcakes.
Naomi's creative flare will hit Rockhampton cupcake lovers today as she opens the door to Cupcake Manor.
Naomi said she had the idea for the cupcakery only six months ago and was overwhelmed that it has become a reality.
"I love the opportunity to be creative and you're only limited to your imagination," Naomi said.
Naomi's imagination has no limits with her cupcakes flavoured from vanilla to having whipped Baileys Cream on top.
The wife and mother said she noticed a gap in the market in Rockhampton when it came to cupcakes and she's planning on filling that gap with the delicious baked goods.
Naomi has been busy in the kitchen designing three ranges of cupcakes with seven flavours; this includes the "classic" cupcake, while each week she will showcase three cupcakes from her "Manor" and "Oh My God" ranges.
Naomi, who bakes her cupcakes from scratch each day, said her children have had a blast over the past few months test tasting the delicious treats.
