Emergency crews called to St Lawrence crash on Bruce Highway

Multiple emergency crews have raced to a truck crash between Rockhampton and Mackay.

Emergency crews have raced to a crash where a truck hit a pole on the Bruce Highway between Rockhampton and Mackay.

Paramedics were called to truck rollover at St Lawrence about 7.34am where it is understood the driver is encapsulated.

A spokeswoman for Queensland Police Service said the truck was off the road and powerlines were down.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services have two crews still en route to the incident.

It’s the second crash to keep Central Queensland’s emergency crews busy on Monday morning, with two people taken to Rockhampton Hospital in stable conditions after a crash at Marmor at 6am.
