Emergency crews called to crashes at Comet and Frenchville

Three people have been hospitalised following two separate crashes in Central Queensland on Saturday night.

Three people have been injured in two separate crashes in Central Queensland on Saturday night.

At 6.31pm emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Capricorn Highway at Comet.

Paramedics assessed a woman on the scene who was taken to Emerald Hospital in a stable condition with back pain.

Just under an hour later crews responded to a two-vehicle crash in the North Rockhampton suburb of Frenchville.

Paramedics were called to the incident on Diplock St at 7.26pm, where a man had to be freed from one of the vehicles after being trapped.

Two men were taken to Rockhampton Hospital in stable conditions.
