CQ Health has updated the number of positive PCR Covid cases in the region following Tuesday’s shortage of test results.
As of 8am on February 2, there were 18 Covid-positive patients in Rockhampton Hospital and one in Gladstone Hospital, all in stable conditions, according to CQ Health.
There were 163 confirmed Covid cases from PCR tests in the past 24 hours, including 67 in Rockhampton, 43 in Gladstone, 28 in Livingstone, 23 in Central Highlands and two in Banana Shire.
This comes after a shortage of PCR tests and samples being transported to Brisbane impacted daily totals.
There were 106 self-reported RAT positives on February 2.
Five new cases of Covid were recorded in the Central West.
This means there are 56 active cases in the region, including five in Alpha, three in Aramac, two in Barcaldine, three in Blackall, one in Jundah, 14 in Longreach, three in Tambo, three in Windorah, 22 in Winton.
