Cattle truck and car crash closes southbound lane of Bruce Highway
Emergency crews have responded to cattle truck crash which closed Bruce Highway lanes in the Beef Capital.
Bulls have had to be transferred following a cattle truck and car crash on the Bruce Highway at The Caves.
The crash happened about 9.30am and caused the south bound lane of the highway to be closed.
One fire crew attended the scene but there were no entrapments, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.
The woman driving the cattle truck declined to be taken to hospital while the man driving the car was taken to Rockhampton Hospital as a precaution, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
Police were conducting traffic control, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said, adding two bulls were in the truck but uninjured.
