Car crashes into house in Mount Morgan
A dramatic late-night crash has left a Mount Morgan house with significant structural damage with one man taken to hospital and the driver allegedly fleeing the scene.
A driver has allegedly fled the scene after a vehicle crash into a house in Mount Morgan.
The crash occurred on James St at 9.27pm Monday, November 3.
The driver fled while his passenger was taken to hospital, a Queensland Police Service spokesman said.
A man in his 30s was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with abdominal pain, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
One fire crew attended the scene and helped make the area safe, a Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said, adding that the house suffered structural damage.
