Two property businesses in Central Queensland are undergoing significant changes, with one business moving location and another going under new leadership with a total revamp of the office.
After eight years at a display home at 239 Victoria Place, Berserker, CJ Homes Central Queensland is moving to a new display centre at 1/66 Bolsover Street, Rockhampton.
Sales manager Steven O’Hanlon said they chose the most prominent location they could find that suited their needs the best.
“After Covid we took it as the ultimate time to make a move where we can have all our products under the one roof and just a bit more space,” Mr O’Hanlon said.
“It is going to take us another two to three weeks to finish the fit out.
“We are taking it to a whole new level.
“We have had all the signage put up.
“We are stripping out the shop, everything from plumbing through to lighting is all getting changed.
“We have built walls in there and are adding more and more stuff every day.
“We will be featuring a lot more stuff than we featured before.”
He said once everything was finished at the new display centre there would be an official opening.
In the meantime, CJ Homes Central Queensland is still open for business.
Rockhampton’s Nathan Price took over as principal of Century 21 Solutions in January and the office at 31 East Street has been undergoing renovations.
“We have been remodelling the inside with new flooring, new walls and tidying up the place and making it more presentable” Mr Price said.
“We needed to update it and create a bit of a reception area so it’s a bit more of a formal entry for people as they come in and create a bit more of a staff area.
“We are getting new signage internally and externally.
“Just trying to freshen up the place and bring Century 21 into the 21st century.”
Born and bred in Rockhampton, Mr Price said he always had an interest in real estate and is highly knowledgeable about the local property market and community.
“Me and my wife we were looking at getting into the real estate business so we bought into it and with that means fresh eyes,” he said.
“The opportunity to take on Century 21 presented itself and we jumped in.
“I love real estate and doing the numbers on investments. Hopefully I can be a slight difference in the way I come to the market in the residential space.”
Mr Price was a certified practising accountant with more than 10 years financial experience, as well as experience in negotiating multimillion-dollar contracts.
He is looking to build the business so it can provide for generations to come and support community growth in Central Queensland.
“Hopefully I can transfer my skill set into the real estate industry,” he said.
Century 21 was first established in Rockhampton in 2004.
There will be an official grand opening for the agency on May 6.
