THE Heritage Hotel is going under the hammer today.

The iconic Rockhampton hotel, which is heritage-listed, is being marketed by Leon Alaban and Brent McCarthy of Ray White Hotels Australia, with the auction held in Brisbane.

Mr Alaban said the 110-year-old hotel on Quay St was extensively refurbished in 2005 and comprises three bars, a gaming room, function rooms, a manager's residence and office areas, a restaurant with a commercial kitchen and 20 accommodation rooms.

The three-storey building is on about 80sqm of land overlooking the Fitzroy River and has frontage on Quay St, William St and Quay Lane.

The auction will be held at Level 26, 111 Eagle St in Brisbane, at 10.30am today.
