QSA responds to hand injury following axe incident in Central Queensland

Police were called to a New Auckland address around 1.45pm.

It was reported a man had cut off the top of one of his fingers with an axe.

At the time of the report, he was still trying to locate the finger tip.

He was transported to the Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.
