A woman has been charged after crashing into the Kalka Palms Hotel in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Queensland Police Service confirmed the 28 year-old woman crashed through the fence of the Lakes Creek Road pub shortly before 1am.
She was charged with drive a motor vehicle over the middle alcohol limit and commit public nuisance and is due to appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on May 11.
Kalka Palms Hotel shared CCTV footage of the incident which shows the vehicle crashing into the screening panels around the beer garden and then reversing away.
“The pub and bottleshop are still open. We unfortunately had a drunk driver crash through our fence last night,” the facebook post read.
“Unfortunately the beer garden is closed until temporary fencing arrives.”
