A man in his 40s required emergency services’ help to get out of his vehicle

RACQ Capricorn Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a motor vehicle accident west of Gladstone on Wednesday evening.
Ambulance, police and QFES went to the scene at Dixalea just after 5.30pm to remove a male patient in his 40s from his vehicle which had struck the side of another vehicle.
The patient suffered suspected internal injuries and a serious arm injury, while the driver of the second vehicle was unhurt.
The patient was assessed by the on-board doctor and critical care paramedic before being transferred to Rockhampton Hospital.
The patient was in a stable condition throughout the flight.
